How has Silver Hill improved from when they first launched until now?
Jim Weaver: “Today Silver Hill is like a different company than they were in Q4 of 22. At the onset, the processes were not clearly defined and cumbersome. The roles within the team did not seem clearly defined, which meant that everyone was copied on emails.
This became confusing quick. However, it is the total opposite now. They heard the feedback and have made numerous changes for the better. Roles are defined, processes are defined…..and better yet, the process is easy! Even the closing paperwork has been reduced and is much more efficient. Our title office has also noticed a big difference over the past months and welcomes the opportunity to work with Silver Hill.”
What do you like most about working with Silver Hill?
Jim Weaver: “They are responsive. Brandon and team are always there when information is needed. They are also willing to “jump through hoops” when those rush-closes arise. As we know, speed can be what wins a deal…and I am confident that the Silver Hill team will do everything they can to close a deal.”
How has Silver Hill improved your business?
Jim Weaver: “Silver Hill’s efficiency has directly translated into us being more efficient. Since we now know what information they needed, how they want it provided, and when they need it provided, things on our end are predictable and without surprises.
We can now apply for a loan in a short amount of time. After the application, there is very little more effort needed all the way through close. Basically, once the application is submitted, it is just update-emails from Silver Hill, then title reaches out to confirm close date and time. It is as simple as that.”
Why should a Franchisee who is currently not signed up with Silver Hill start working with them?
Jim Weaver: “Because Silver Hill has totally revamped since they started and now seem to truly understand our business and are franchise-focused. I like that they accept the VC rehab budget. I like that they want our appraiser recommendations. And I like that once the app is submitted, there is basically no other work that needs to be done…just email updates on how things are progressing.
I don’t have to check on them — they check on me!”
